Friday Power Lunch: Real Talk, Real Change - Beyond the Talking Points
This week, the Friday Power Lunch cuts through the noise and getting real. Their featured guest, Dani Cook, brings a rare blend of empathy, authenticity, and unflinching truth to the urgent issues of our time—from the devastating impacts of Trump-era cuts to the pillars of our democratic society, to the strategies we need to push back.
Also joining FPL is Judith Bolker, San Francisco activist, who will introduce us to VoteFromAbroad.org, where absentee ballots can be obtained and Democrats Abroad, the official Democratic Party arm for millions of Americans living outside the U.S.—and explain how their work mobilizing the overseas vote can help win elections right here in Virginia.
