Hi John,
Did you know Elon Musk has applied for a license to supply energy to British homes?
That license would put Musk in the same category as established energy companies like the one you pay to keep your lights on.
It is now up to Ofgem to decide whether a man who has amplified misinformation, undermined our government and backed campaigners who want to scrap net zero, should have the ability to influence our energy markets.
<[link removed]>✍️ I will write to Ofgem today <[link removed]>I don't think Musk should be allowed anywhere near Britain's energy supply - especially at a time when people are struggling with high energy bills.
Will you join me in writing to Ofgem, telling them to reject Musk's application? <[link removed]>
Musk is a man who has called Britain a "police state" run by a "tyrannical government" that he has suggested should be 'liberated" by America.
<[link removed]>✍️ I do not want Musk involved in our energy <[link removed]>e are in a cost-of-energy crisis - with radical right campaigners using that crisis to win over voters.
Introducing the world's richest man, with a proven desire to interfere in politics, to such a nationally-sensitive industry would be irresponsible.
If you agree with us that Musk should not be allowed in our energy markets - use our tool below to write to Ofgem expressing your concern. <[link removed]>
It only takes two minutes!
<[link removed]>✍️ I will act to keep Musk out <[link removed]>The encroachment of figures like Musk into British politics is worrying enough.
But giving him a foothold in our energy markets would only further increase his leverage over our country.
We cannot let that happen.
Yours,
Cary
