As Americans across the country re-start their lives in the wake of the devastating pandemic that ravaged our global economy, one constant remains: China’s deception and manipulation to deflect blame.

China has not only denied responsibility for their role in spreading and covering up the coronavirus, but they are also running vicious propaganda campaigns attempting to pin the blame on the United States. This is just the latest charade in China’s thinly-veiled plan to supersede the U.S. as the top global power. 

I recently wrote in a Washington Times op-ed with Senator Martha McSally about China’s quest for power: 
    
    “China’s 2050 plan is designed to unseat the United States as the     world’s superpower. It is backing up that plan with hundreds of billions of     dollars, investments around the globe and the creation of a domestic     technology base, much of it stolen from America.”

Republicans are back at work, fighting to get the country, which had seen some of it’s best days before this crisis with record-high job creation and a strong economy, back on track. One of our top priorities is to hold China accountable and take action to protect American jobs, manufacturing, intellectual property and lives.
