John, the Trump administration is in panic mode. Approval ratings are dropping, costs are rising, the latest jobs report was lousy, and reporters are still asking about the Epstein files.

And they fear that the work I’m doing to expose the President’s corruption is causing them real damage.

So Trump is doing what he does when backed into a corner — attacking his rivals. Namely, me.

In the last few weeks, I have faced a raft of baseless accusations and attacks. Online, in the White House press room, on Fox News (so many times), and in the halls of the Justice Department. I’ve never needed you more. Please, pitch in to stand with me and help me respond.

Donald Trump called for me to be investigated and jailed on Truth Social:

Attorney General Pam Bondi revealed that none other than corrupt political appointee Ed Martin would be investigating me after I blocked his nomination for U.S. Attorney:

Then, FBI Director Kash Patel — a man with one of the most outrageous, right-wing records of recent memory — spread defamatory lies about my service as Intelligence Committee Chair during the Trump impeachment.

And Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt added fuel to the fire by attacking me by name during a White House press briefing:

It even made the front page of Fox News’ website. (Not to mention on Fox News television 20 times in just 24 hours, and counting...)

These smears recycle false attacks from the first Trump Administration that even the Barr Justice Department rejected as unfounded.

John, all of these old, false, and recycled attacks are meant to distract people from the real, pressing issues in our country. And of course, the Epstein files.

And it’s payback. I once again have a target on my back for doing my job and holding Trump and his team accountable — by leading Trump’s first impeachment, serving on the January 6th Committee, and bringing down unfit nominees like Ed Martin.
