Since the fight over the GOP’s illegal, racist maps began, many of you have stepped up — and I want to say thank you.
Your support over these few weeks has:
- Kept our legal and organizing teams fully resourced in the middle of this urgent redistricting fight.
- Funded ongoing rapid-response ads, calls, and texts to keep Texans informed on the special session.
- Helped us mobilize voters in every corner of the state to demand fair maps.
This is not just another political battle — these maps are designed to silence millions of Texans for the next decade. If Greg and Donald succeed, they’ll tilt the playing field so far in their favor that fair representation will all but be a thing of the past.
There’s a lot of information circulating, but I want to assure you the fight is still on, and no matter the outcome, Texas Dems will be working to make sure you have a voice and say in your representation.
We’re the state of Lyndon B. Johnson, the president who stood up and said, “Enough is enough!” and signed the Voting Rights Act of 1965. And I’ll be damned if the state of LBJ is the state where Voting Rights are eroded for good.
