Let's talk numbers -- it is my job, after all.

I head up fundraising for Jay, so I'm looking at the numbers all day long. Not just our fundraising numbers but our opponents' too.

That's why it's important to note that the Republican Governors Association raised a total of $53.1 million in 2019 to flip a total of four governorships. Four out of 50 -- and Jay's seat is one of them.

Donald Trump's victory in 2016 has proven no campaign is safe, and no election win is certain. Republicans and Donald Trump will go all out to defeat Jay, and we have to be ready. These last few months, Donald Trump has focused his wrath on Democratic governors like Jay, who are doing their jobs well.

From tweets threatening a military coup in Washington state to TV appearances where he simply calls Jay a "nasty person," nothing is off-limits for this president. And we know wherever Donald Trump goes, his Republican allies follow -- we have to fight back.

Republicans have already bought air time for this fall -- and with tens of millions of dollars on hand, there's no telling what disinformation they'll start to spread.
