Remind EPA that it works for us, not corporate polluters

EPA’s job is to protect people and our environment from dangerous pollution. But Trump and Administrator Zeldin are abdicating this responsibility by launching a creeping authoritarian attempt to reverse the legal and scientific foundation for cutting climate pollution.

We can’t let EPA abandon its mission and America’s future just to please Big Oil billionaires. Speak out against this dangerous move by submitting a public comment today. ([link removed])

TAKE ACTION ([link removed])

Friend—

As part of its ongoing plan to render our federal government incapable of protecting and supporting American workers and families, the Trump regime is making a reckless attack on climate action.

It recently released a dangerous plan to overturn a fundamental legal and scientific finding that gives the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) the authority to regulate climate pollution.

This could lead to an unregulated free-for-all for corporations to release dangerous climate pollution from cars, trucks, power plants, and oil and gas operations.

In other words, corporate polluters will be free to do as they please and profit at the expense of American families, who will be left to deal with more climate-fueled disasters, more preventable deaths, and higher energy costs. It would be total chaos, which is why we need to do everything we can to prevent Trump and his EPA from getting away with it.

We have until September 15 to flood EPA with the voices of the people. We need to remind EPA Administrator Lee Zeldin that the agency is accountable to the law of this land and doesn’t serve the fossil fuel industry. He serves to protect people and the health of our environment. Will you send Lee Zeldin a message today to say that EPA serves the American people—not the fossil fuel industry—and demand he do his job? ([link removed])

The EPA has ONE job: to protect the American people and our shared environment from dangerous pollution. But Trump and Zeldin are abandoning that mission to shield polluters from accountability—at whatever the cost to our climate, health, and future—in a creeping move of authoritarianism that is reckless, baseless, and unlawful.

And let me be clear: This isn’t just an attack on climate action.

➡️ It’s an assault on science, truth, and our very livelihoods, which depend on clean water and breathable air.

➡️ It’s a massive handout to Trump’s corporate polluter pals who helped get him elected.

➡️ And it’s an effort to make climate denial the official policy of the federal government, opening the door to higher energy bills, dirtier air, and deadlier disasters.

But we know that no amount of denial is going to stop the extreme heat waves, wildfires, droughts, and storms that will only get worse the longer we delay our transition away from dirty fossil fuels. That’s why it’s critical we raise our voices right now to tell Administrator Zeldin NOT to finalize this dangerous proposal that will worsen climate change and endanger public health.
