Can you believe we're already midway through August? It’s hard to fathom how much has happened in just the last 6 months.

Every day, we’re seeing new and unprecedented threats to our democracy — an unfortunate but common theme with this administration.

I know that times like these can be overwhelming, but I need you focused and with me so we can stop Republicans from eroding our democracy any further.

In just 6 months, we’ve seen:

• 1️⃣… federal workers laid off en masse and replaced with MAGA loyalists.
• 2️⃣… universities and media institutions forced to settle deals in lawsuits with Trump.
• 3️⃣… the Supreme Court blocking federal judges from using injunctions to halt unconstitutional policies.
• 4️⃣… hospitals facing closures and people losing access to health care as a result of the Big Ugly Bill.
• 5️⃣… critical institutions and programs like SNAP and Social Security gutted.
• 6️⃣… the Corporation for Public Broadcasting shut down due to major funding cuts.

This doesn’t even begin to scratch the list.

It’s times like these when our democracy depends on we, the people, to step up, stay focused, and stand strong against encroaching authoritarian threats.

I need you to stand with me. Can I count on you to chip in $6 – a dollar for each month of Trump’s tirade — today? Let’s stay on track to flip the House blue and hold Donald Trump and his MAGA cronies accountable.
