Hey there, we’ll get right to it: Sharice Davids is one of just a handful of LGBTQ+ voices in Congress — which means National Republicans are going to throw some of the nastiest, most personal attacks her way.

It’s vital that we get our fundraising on a good track to fight back against these smears and make sure every voter across KS-03 hears Sharice’s message when it counts. Will you please chip in before our next fundraising deadline on Friday night to help us catch up to our goal?

National Republicans are frustrated enough that there’s a single Democrat representing Kansas in DC. But a Democrat who is unafraid to stand up to Donald Trump and his attacks on the LGBTQ+ community? That makes them furious.

They think, since she represents a so-called red state, Sharice should be running away from who she is. That she should stay quiet when the Trump Administration declares war on the livelihoods of LGBTQ+ folks across the country.

Well, that’s not how Sharice does things. Never has been, never will be. In Congress, she’s been one of the loudest, most outspoken voices to defend the freedom to love and the freedom to live as your authentic self — and she always will be.

Listen, we know we’ve been a little more aggressive than usual lately when it comes to these emails, and we’re sorry to bug you again.

But this is why. Given all the unfair, shameful attacks coming Sharice’s way — and the stakes of this race when it comes to the direction of the country — we hope you can understand why we have to work as hard as we are to meet our fundraising goal.
