Friend,
Just over two months ago, our city was calm. People were going to work, dropping their kids at school, spending time in our parks, and living their lives in peace.
That changed when the Trump administration launched an all-out assault on Los Angeles.
In a matter of days, federal agents flooded our streets. ICE was seen snatching people from sidewalks and chasing workers through parking lots. The Trump administration was using our city as a testing ground for their authoritarian tactics.
These recent weeks have been a nightmare for too many immigrant families in Los Angeles, and I will not stand for it. No one deserves to live in fear in their own community.
I vow to never stop fighting to protect all Angelenos. No matter your background, zip code, or immigration status, you belong here.
But I can’t do this alone. Will you add your name today to stand with L.A.’s immigrant communities?
Thank you,
