Here’s a quick fact: if there are no enforced limits on pollution, you get more of it.

That’s why we’re fighting back at every level to defeat the Trump administration’s latest effort to leave the EPA powerless to limit climate pollution. We’re suing the administration for secretly pulling together climate skeptics with fossil fuel ties to write the junk “science” that’s being used to undermine the protections we need to curb climate change.

By raising our voice in the courts, and amplifying our message through the public comment process, we have the best chance at making sure the EPA does its job. After all, the agency can't ignore the clear scientific link between pollution and climate while still fulfilling its mission to protect the health of people and the planet.

For decades, the Environmental Protection Agency has been guided by a key principle: climate pollution threatens public health and welfare. It’s known as the Endangerment Finding, and it has served as a bedrock for meaningful climate action since 2009.

President Trump and EPA Administrator Lee Zeldin are now taking steps to overturn this finding — an attempt to leave EPA powerless to limit the pollution that contributes to worsening droughts, flooding, wildfires and other unnatural disasters.
