Hi Friends,
When President Trump came into office, he said over and over again he was
going to lower prices and boost our economy on Day 1. That hasn’t
happened.
His trade war with our allies is raising prices of everyday goods and
hurting the economy. We got an updated jobs report, and it wasn’t good. It
was so bad in fact, that Trump fired the head of the nonpartisan Bureau of
Labor Statistics, which assembles the report.
He said that the numbers were “rigged.”
We’ve seen this before. Anytime he doesn’t get a result he likes, he tries
to erase it.
I have a better idea. If he hates the bad job numbers so much, he should
reverse his terrible economic policies that are hurting the economy.
But instead of investing in the middle class, in education, in health
care, he’s slashing funding so he can give tax cuts to millionaires.
It makes no sense.
I’ll keep fighting back against his agenda harming working families.
Thanks,
Peter
