Dear A.,

In Gaza today, Israel identified a convoy of cars labeled as belonging to the World Central Kitchen (WCK) that was actually comprised of armed terrorists.

The IDF, after identifying the terrorists and confirming with WCK that the vehicles were not part of its operations, struck the convoy.

"Five armed terrorists were eliminated in Deir al-Balah while near a vehicle marked with the 'World Central Kitchen' emblem. The terrorists wore yellow vests in an attempt to conceal their activity and avoid being targeted," the IDF

said .

"WCK was contacted by Israel's Coordinator of Government Activities in the Territories (COGAT), and confirmed the vehicle and persons of interest were not affiliated with WCK," the aid group

confirmed .

Meanwhile, new analyses shine a light on Hamas' systematic manipulation of data, including on malnutrition as well as casualty numbers in Gaza.

First, an IDF assessment
[link removed]
released today found Hamas has been routinely inflating the alleged number of Palestinians dying of malnutrition.

Israeli officials and medical experts concluded that Hamas has conducted "an orchestrated campaign as part of a broader effort to discredit the State of Israel and achieve political gains."

"The case-by-case analysis of the published deaths shows that most of those allegedly dying from malnutrition had preexisting medical conditions that led to the deterioration of their health, unrelated to their nutritional status."

Second, a separate review of Hamas' own casualty numbers shows that "the majority of Gazan deaths since the October 7 massacre have been combat-aged men," Israeli journalist Amit Segal
[link removed]
reports .

"While combat-aged men in Gaza account for around 29 percent of the strip’s total population, according to Palestinian data, they’ve made up 53 percent of Gazan fatalities in this war," Segal adds.

While Israel works to improve the humanitarian situation in Gaza, Hamas is prolonging the suffering of Israelis and Palestinians alike.

The United States must stand with Israel and increase the pressure on Hamas and its sponsors in Qatar, Turkey and Iran to release all 50 hostages still held in captivity.

Israeli hostages in Gaza systematically tortured and terrorized - new report

A
[link removed]
report from the Israeli Health Ministry released today sheds light on the horrific treatment of the Israeli hostages held captive in Gaza.

The report
[link removed]
found "patterns of abuse, medical neglect, and subhuman conditions that constitute torture," and warns that the remaining hostages "are in immediate danger."

The report has been shared with the Red Cross, which has done nothing in nearly two years to help the hostages held in captivity, yet has repeatedly participated in Hamas propaganda ceremonies.

The 12 hostages whose experiences the report drew on sometimes had no more than one meal daily, and the food was often spoiled or worm-infested. They could shower only once every few months, and were rarely allowed to change clothes.

They used the bathroom in holes they dug themselves, often in view of others, and many suffered from extensive untreated physical wounds.

One was held alone for over 50 days while injured, and others were held in isolation for more than a year. The hostages were repeatedly psychologically terrorized, and some sexually harassed.

Rubio: "As long as Hamas exists, there will be no peace in Gaza"

In an interview today, Secretary of State Marco Rubio made clear that "as long as Hamas exists, there will be no peace in Gaza. That’s a fact."

"You can have a ceasefire for 30, 60, 90 days. You can do whatever you want. You will not have peace in Gaza as long as Hamas exists. And the sooner we grasp that and the sooner people grasp that, the sooner they understand what the objective has to be here."

Rubio also highlighted the plight of the hostages, calling out the international community for failing to focus on the 20 living hostages still held captive: "If we’re going to talk about the humanitarian crisis, we should spend an equal amount of time talking about the fact that, as we speak, there are 20 living human beings in deep suffering underneath tunnels... The only thing we see from them are some propaganda videos that Hamas puts out, which is horrifying."

Democratic members of Congress in Israel with AIEF

A Democratic delegation of House members is on the ground to see and experience Israel firsthand with AIPAC's charitable affiliate, AIEF.

The members met yesterday with Israeli President Isaac Herzog, and then visited Ashdod Port, where they met with World Food Program Country Director Antoine Renard to discuss the challenges of distributing aid in Gaza.

They also met with representatives from Rafael Advanced Defense Systems at one of the company's campuses, where they discussed Israel's advanced missile defense systems, including the Iron Beam laser system deployed for the first time earlier this year.

On Sunday, the members saw an Arrow-3 missile defense battery, one of the lifesaving systems funded by Congress each year that helped defend Israel during the 12-day war with Iran.

U.S. & Israel opposing UNIFIL reauthorization

The United States and Israel are
[link removed]
reportedly opposing an automatic renewal of the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon's (UNIFIL) mandate, ahead of a U.N. Security Council discussion on extending the mandate later this month.

UNIFIL, originally established nearly five decades ago as a temporary force, has completely failed in its mission.

Rather than disarming Hezbollah and demilitarizing southern Lebanon, the U.N. force largely stood by and did nothing as Hezbollah developed extensive terror infrastructure and a massive weapons arsenal, and may have even collaborated with the terror group.

For the past twenty years, UNIFIL has been led by French, Italian, Irish and Spanish military officers.

Foreign Press Association president 'doesn't care' if journalist was Hamas terrorist

In a shocking interview, the president of the U.S. Foreign Press Association condemned the IDF's elimination Sunday night of Anas al-Sharif, a Hamas terrorist who was also on the payroll of Al Jazeera.

Sharif was a "terrorist operating under the guise of a journalist," the IDF said in a
[link removed]
statement following the strike.

But Foreign Press Association President Ian Williams said: "Frankly, I don't care if al-Sharif was in Hamas or not," and questioned whether Hamas is even a terrorist organization: "Hamas is a political organization, as well as a terrorist organization, perhaps."
