Hi John,
You took our carbon tax quiz and you knew your stuff.

Taxfighters like you impressed us with how much you knew. Here are the highlights:
* 85% of supporters like you knew that Carney didn’t say how much his carbon tax on businesses will cost Canadians.
* 70% of supporters knew that Quebec had a special deal that exempted it from the full cost of the carbon tax.
* 74% of supporters knew that Alberta had frozen its carbon tax on businesses.

Here’s what caught taxfighters by surprise:
* Only 40% of supporters knew that Saskatchewan is leading the fight against the carbon tax by scrapping its hidden carbon tax on businesses, 54% thought it was Alberta.
* Taxpayers thought more Canadians knew the cost of the industrial carbon tax will be paid by consumers. Most people thought 81% of Canadians polled thought the costs would be passed on to consumers, but the real answer was 68%!

Knowledge is power and taxfighters are working hard to stay on top of this issue.

Now you can get the rest of the story.

Our federal director, Franco Terrazzano, wrote a book to tell the real story behind the carbon tax, and why it was always a bad idea that made life more expensive.

You know the carbon tax hasn’t been defeated yet. The consumer carbon tax isn’t fully repealed, only zeroed out. And the federal government is still imposing a hidden carbon tax on businesses.

But not that long ago, almost every politician from every party agreed – carbon taxes were a great idea.

The question is – how did that change? Franco lays out the origins of the carbon tax and the start of the fight against it. Your CTF team has been a part of this fight since the beginning so the book is full of inside details and deep research.

You can support the CTF and pick up a fun and informative read, by ordering Franco’s book Axing the Tax here: [link removed] ([link removed] > 1|*true&status2=
