Team,
10 years after the Supreme Court made marriage equality the law of the land in the decision Obergefell v. Hodges, right-wing extremists are trying to turn back the clock.
The Supreme Court was just formally asked to take up a case that, if won, would overturn the 2015 Obergefell ruling and jeopardize federal protections for same-sex marriage.
Obergefell, which cemented marriage as a fundamental right for every couple, was the culmination of decades of hard work from activists fighting for equal rights.
Let me tell you: we will not let the far-right roll back our hard-won progress.
As the first openly gay Senator in our nation's history, I promise not to back down. I will keep up the fight for LGBTQ+ rights until every person can live freely, openly, and authentically.
As I keep up the fight for LGBTQ+ rights every single day in the Senate, will you pitch in to support me in this fight?

I won’t stop until we’ve achieved full equality for everyone.
Thank you,
Tammy
