Team,
Mayor Karen Bass just announced the completion of the Eland Solar-plus-Storage Center — one of the largest solar and battery energy storage projects in the entire country.
This is a huge milestone in the fight for a greener, cleaner, and more resilient Los Angeles.

The Eland Center is now fully operational, becoming LADWP’s first large-scale, integrated solar and battery facility. That means we can now store and deliver clean energy to Angelenos, day and night.
Here’s what that looks like in practice:
✅ Clean power for more than 266,000 homes in LA each year
✅ Progress toward our goal of 100% clean energy
✅ Local jobs and long-term savings for LA families
✅ A national model for climate leadership at the local level
Mayor Bass is proud to deliver real results that move our city forward. But to keep making progress on clean energy, affordable housing, public safety, and more, she needs your support. Will you pitch in today to help power the Mayor’s work?
