It might be hard to believe, friend, but it’s already been exactly 250 days since Election Day 2019.
Ever since, and even through this year's unprecedented challenges, Justin Trudeau and our Liberal team have been resolutely focused on our progress to keep Canada moving forward, and on building a better future for all Canadians.
Throughout 2020, that’s included strong action to keep Canadians healthy, safe, and supported, and even in the last few weeks, it’s also included an immediate ban on assault-style weapons in Canada, the announcement that the Canada Child Benefit will be increased a third time next month to help families keep up with the high costs of raising kids, and continued action to fight climate change.
But there’s still much more hard work ahead of us. Your Liberal team is committed to investing in the middle class and the most vulnerable, growing an economy that works for everyone, keeping Canadians safe, and protecting a clean environment – today, and always.
And it’s your commitment that makes all of our progress possible, especially as we need to keep stepping up our vital democratic engagement work in new and virtual ways.
