Our friends at PEN America are hosting a Cross-State Student Coalition Call on Thursday, August 14th from 1-2pm ET!
PEN America stands at the intersection of literature and human rights to protect free expression in the United States and worldwide. They champion the freedom to write, recognizing the power of the word to transform the world.
This coalition call will feature two presentations -- one by a student group from Florida, the College Students for Expression, about how to create an impactful Zine as a student advocacy group.
The other will be a presentation by PEN America staff on using shared definitions of academic freedom and why that is important in advocacy on free expression in higher education.
