This Labor Day we’re having more than barbecues. The groups that carried out the May Day protests this year are calling for September 1 to be the next mobilization moment to demand “workers over billionaires.”

This is a pivotal moment–Trump and his billionaire friends are converting the government into their private slush fund. The money they take from working families, they put in billionaires’ pockets and set aside to fund Trump's private army of ICE agents.

Labor Day will be different this year. Working people are rising up and planning canvasses, rallies, marches, and protest barbecues. We are taking action, growing our movement, and fighting for a country that is more fair, just, equitable, and free for all of us—and not just a chosen few.
