Citibank is fueling destruction in the Amazon rainforest, John.
It’s one of the top five banks giving billions of dollars to fund fossil
fuel projects in the critical rainforest.^1
And now that the Brazilian government is fast-tracking fossil fuel
projects in the Amazon^2, that money could be put to even more destructive
   use.
Thousands of supporters like you have already taken action by signing onto
our petition demanding Citibank stop destroying the Amazon. Can you help
make the public outcry even bigger by liking or sharing our social media
   posts tagging Citibank?

The Amazon is critical for our future. It absorbs carbon from our
atmosphere, supports rich biodiversity, and is home to many Indigenous
   Peoples and traditional communities.
But fossil fuel projects and other activities are displacing these
communities and degrading the Amazon to the point that it could begin to
emit more carbon than it absorbs.^3
It’s time for Citibank to listen to climate activists and the Indigenous
Peoples and traditional communities who are fighting back against the
destruction of their home. Help us raise a call too loud for Citibank to
   ignore.
   In solidarity,
   Katrina for Team 350
