Thousands of Arkansans visit DC every year to visit museums and see our nation’s history.
Our nation’s capital should be safe and a point of national pride — not littered with homeless encampments that endanger visitors.
So I fully support what President Trump announced to make DC safe again.
In the Senate, I’m spearheading the fight to supercharge the president’s effort:
Liberal politicians at every level, from cities like DC to the Senate itself, have allowed chaos, danger, and violent crime to run wild with weak policies that encourage lawlessness.
It must end. President Trump ran on making our country safe for law-abiding citizens. He’s keeping his promise and I back him to the hilt.
In service,
Tom Cotton
Meet Tom Cotton
After 9/11, Tom Cotton joined the U.S. Army, serving multiple combat tours and in the Old Guard at Arlington National Cemetery.
In the U.S. Senate, he’s fighting for Arkansans and Americans, standing up to the Marxist Left, and building a movement to make America strong again.
Our movement depends on support from working Americans pitching in what they can, when they can. With 2026 coming soon, Tom is counting on tough conservatives across the country to help him build a campaign that can win.
Senator Cotton was honorably discharged from the U.S. Army.
