We All Have A Role To Play In Preventing Childhood Hunger. Don't Miss Your Chance To Double Your Impact: Match My Gift

John,

While some kids are already going back to school and gaining access to school meals, others are struggling to get through the final, hungriest days of summer. And because of cuts to SNAP grocery benefits, many kids across the country will continue to face hunger even after school starts.

That is why we set an urgent $5,000 goal to raise the resources we need to support children now when they are most at risk of hunger. Will you please make your first gift now to help children get through the hungriest time of year?

Give $25 (Can Help Provide 250 Meals)
Give $50 (Can Help Provide 500 Meals)
Give $100 (Can Help Provide 1,000 Meals)
Give Another Amount (Every $1 can help provide 10 meals!)

Summer should be a time of joy and freedom for kids, but for the millions of kids who rely on school meals, summer is a time of hunger and anxiety — and they can’t wait for it to end.

Without access to school meals, research shows that a family’s grocery bill could rise more than $300 per month in the summer. This puts a strain on already-tight budgets: Two-thirds of all families living on low incomes say they’ve recently had to choose between food and utilities — and two-thirds also had to choose between food and medical care.

Unfortunately, even a return to school will only provide limited relief to kids and families who can no longer rely on grocery benefits after historic cuts to SNAP this year. And some kids don’t have access to school meals at all. That’s why we need your help to reach our goal before midnight to help children facing a lack of food at this critical moment.

Please, John, make a gift now to help children and families in these final days of summer when they need our help the most.
