Right now, National Guard units are being deployed to Washington, D.C.

Not because of a natural disaster. Not to help their neighbors in a time of crisis. Not to protect Americans from harm.

They’re here because Donald Trump wants a military backdrop for his latest political stunt.

Let’s be clear: The National Guard exists to protect the United States citizenry. That’s why it’s called the National Guard. Its mission is rooted in service to the people, to the states, and to the Constitution.

But under Trump, Guardsmen and women were ordered to stand as props in a propaganda parade; they were ordered into Los Angeles, and they were ordered into DC. All while he pardoned the criminals who attacked the Capitol on January 6th. He had no problem with that “DC crime.”

This is not just a waste of resources — it’s a deliberate misuse and exploitation of the military for Trump’s political escapades.

The Save America Movement is calling it out. Our ad, running right now in D.C., reminds every Guardsman and woman — and every American — that their oath is to the Constitution, not to one man.
