Friend,
Did you know more than 40,000 dogs in the U.S. are used in experiments every year? It’s a staggering number, but what’s worse, many of the dogs used are beagles because the same traits that make beagles our best friends—their friendliness and docility—are the exact things that make them top test subjects for invasive and stressful experiments.
That’s why we’re calling on advocates like you, Friend, to join us in demanding governments and industries in the U.S. and around the globe end experiments on dogsand invest in science that doesn't cause animal suffering.
Please, will you seize the opportunity to make a life-changing difference for beagles and all dogs used in experiments? Sign the petition before midnight tonight. →

The good news is that building public pressure works, Friend. In fact, earlier this year, the National Institutes of Health shut down the last beagle laboratory on its campus—a lab that carried out experiments on thousands of innocent dogs.
This is a huge step forward in the fight to end animal cruelty, but it does NOT mean that the NIH has stopped pouring money into invasive and distressing experiments using vulnerable dogs. The federal government as a whole must continue taking steps to end their major role in this continued cruelty by funding countless dog experiments. And labs must also stop taking funds to test on dogs.
We need your help right now to end these horrific practices, once and for all. Please, take action now:
Sign the petition to end research and testing on dogs.
