DNR Announces Temporary Closure Of
Waukesha Service Center

*MADISON, Wis.* – The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources (DNR) today announced that the Waukesha Service Center at 141 NW Barstow Street in Waukesha County is closed for the immediate future due to flooding from recent extreme weather events.

Recent severe rain events have raised the water levels on the Fox River, and the streets surrounding the office are submerged.

The DNR understands the importance of its service centers and will continue to monitor conditions to ensure the Waukesha location is reopened promptly when it is safe to do so.

In the meantime, individuals are encouraged to purchase licenses online through Go Wild [ [link removed] ], visit another DNR service center [ [link removed] ] or a license sales agent [ [link removed] ] for in-person service, or contact DNR customer service at 888-936-7463. Updates on the building's reopening will be posted on the DNR's website [ [link removed] ].
