Hi John, it’s Josh.

If I’m being honest, asking for money is one of my least favorite parts of this job. It’s awkward and uncomfortable, and it’s certainly not how I was raised. But it’s also really important, especially because our opponents are getting their war chest ready.

If you didn’t know, Republicans just had one of their strongest fundraising quarters ever. They know their slim House majority is at risk, and they’re pissed that we flipped this seat last year, so they’ll do whatever it takes to not only maintain their majority but also strengthen it. That includes going after vulnerable seats like mine.

They’ve already named me a top target and started running ads attacking me, and they won’t stop anytime soon. So, it’s critical that we continue building a solid foundation now to fight back.
