The EPA's best tool for protecting us from pollution might disappear
Hi John,
Have you heard? Donald Trump and Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Administrator Lee Zelden have started an all-out assault on environmental protections. They are trying to terminate the EPA’s 2009 Endangerment Finding, which is the EPA’s best tool to protect us from pollution that comes from cars, trucks, and power plants.
They’re making it clear that our health comes second behind the pocket books of corporate polluters.
I’m a mom and I’m taking this personally. I want my son to grow up in a world with clean air. I don’t want to worry about him developing asthma from air pollution or getting sick from playing in polluted rivers. Watch my video to get my inside scoop on the issue >>>
These were concerns for people decades ago before the EPA established these protections. Now Trump and Zelden want to take us back – all so they can help wealthy fossil fuel executives get richer.
You can also provide testimony to the EPA on Tuesday, Aug. 19 and Wednesday, Aug. 20 – today is the deadline to sign up. You can email [email protected] to receive the registration form to speak.
Our families and our children deserve better than this.
