The Trump Administration tried to flex its power by deploying military forces to our city. But here in Los Angeles, we stood united.

Mayor Karen Bass joined community leaders, elected officials, and everyday Angelenos to reject this political theater. The Pentagon has withdrawn thousands of National Guard troops and hundreds of Marines from Los Angeles.

But our work isn’t over.
