I’m Brenda, Chief of Staff here at Texas Dems. I’m not usually the one writing to you, but I wanted to pull back the curtain for a minute.
We send a lot of emails (as one of our best supporters, you’ve probably noticed!), and I wanted to tell you why.
Greg Abbott and Donald Trump are trying to rig the 2026 midterms by forcing through their gerrymandered Congressional map here in Texas (and starting a tidal wave of GOP gerrymanders around the country). In a fight this big, every dollar matters, and most of what fuels our work comes from small donations from people like you.
Will you stand with the thousands of Texans who have already chipped in $25 to help us stand up to the corrupt GOP and stop this wave before it starts?
These small (and generous!) gifts add up fast and help us fund:
- Targeted digital ads telling the truth about the MAGA map
- Direct voter contact like calls and texts in every affected district
- Coordinated mobilization to rally Texans for fair maps
That’s why we email you so often. When enough people pitch in, we can fight like hell and have the resources we need to make sure voters know exactly what’s happening while there’s still time to stop it.
