I know what National Republicans are saying about me behind closed doors.

They believe they finally have my number this year. They think they can take me down once and for all by misleading voters, spreading lies, and playing dirty. I think even some Democrats believe someone like me can’t keep winning in Kansas.

But I’ve had people doubt me before. And every single time, I’ve proven them wrong.

My classmates never believed I could juggle two jobs while earning high marks in college. But I did it anyway, and became the first person in my family to graduate college.

When I ran for Congress in a district that hadn’t voted for a Democrat in nearly a decade, people said I’d get crushed. But I won, and became the ONLY federally elected Democrat in Kansas.

And when everyone said my victory was a fluke, I held this seat in three consecutive, highly competitive re-election campaigns.

I’ve been proving doubters wrong my entire life — but now, I need your help to do it again. Because these upcoming midterms are shaping up to be some of the most competitive, most uncertain elections in recent history, and I need all the help I can get to defend KS-03. Can I count on your support?
