Generations of Minnesotans have experienced the beauty, solitude, and true wilderness that makes our Boundary Waters Canoe Area an American treasure. Right now, today, a new generation of Minnesotans are having the experience of a lifetime camping, fishing, and portaging in the BWCA.

So, why does the Trump Administration want a massive mining operation on the doorstep of the Boundary Waters? Why do they want to risk poisoning the BWCA’s pristine waters and threaten its 1.1 million acres of fragile wilderness?

Why? Because Donald Trump doesn’t care! He and his cronies just announced they’re taking the first step to mine on federal land next to the Boundary Waters. Trump and his MAGA profiteers are willing to cast aside well-established science that mining cannot be done without toxic acid drainage irreparably damaging the waters and wildlife in this natural treasure.

At a time like this, I will never give in.

I'm the strongest voice in Congress to permanently protect the Boundary Waters from mining. We must stop Trump. We must block, stall, fight back, and resist and I need your help:
