Team, what’s happening in Texas is a full-blown assault on democracy: Donald Trump is pushing Texas Republicans to game the system and redraw the state’s congressional maps to take seats away from Democrats and expand the GOP’s razor-thin majority in the House.

Ohio is up next. We’re legally required to redraw our congressional maps this year.

Republicans have gerrymandered Ohio to hell, and we fully expect them to attempt to rig the game again. In 2024, they won just 55% of the vote — yet somehow walked away with 66% of our congressional seats.
