Earlier this month, the U.S. jobs report revealed serious warning signs for our economy, including major downward revisions in job growth numbers.

So how did Donald Trump respond?

Not with solutions or accountability. He fired the head of the Bureau of Labor Statistics without cause because he didn’t like the numbers.

This is unacceptable. And it’s dangerous.

Trump’s reckless tariffs and economic policies are already doing damage: job growth is slowing, prices are rising, and confidence in our economic outlook is falling. Instead of facing the consequences, he’s shooting the messenger.
