Dear John,
I wanted to take a moment to draw your attention to the email I sent yesterday to see if you have a moment to respond.
As we close out Alzheimer's & Brain Awareness Month, it's a perfect time to share the significant impact you can make for the millions living with Alzheimer's, their caregivers and those exploring medical advancements.
As a new supporter, when you become a monthly donor, you're showing your commitment to delivering much-needed care and support and advancing research for so many.
For Alzheimer's & Brain Awareness Month, I proudly invite you to join us as a monthly donor and help to further our mission to lead the way to end Alzheimer's and all other dementia — by accelerating global research, driving risk reduction and early detection, and maximizing quality care and support.
But with only a few days left in Alzheimer's & Brain Awareness Month, we really need your support today. Please join our committed group of monthly donors now, and help us reach our vision of a world without Alzheimer's and all other dementia.
Thank you,
Donna McCullough

Dear John,
People living with Alzheimer's and their caregivers have seen their lives upended — whether they're struggling financially due to work closures, feeling isolated from family members, stressed about potential COVID-19 exposure in a loved one's care facility or all of the above.
For these reasons and more, the critical work of the Alzheimer's Association has never been more important — nor has the dependable support of friends like you. Today, during Alzheimer's & Brain Awareness Month, will you help us reach our goal of 2,020 monthly donors in 2020 by joining us as a monthly donor?
John, as we reach the year's halfway mark and near the end of Alzheimer's & Brain Awareness Month, I'm so thankful for the new monthly donors who have stepped up to increase their commitment to our vital work — especially now, as the COVID-19 crisis has required us to adapt our critical work in many ways:
- We've successfully transitioned our support groups, education programs and care consultations to phone or virtual formats.
- We've published new, pandemic-related website pages to help the families and professionals providing dementia care stay informed on the challenges of COVID-19.
- We've engaged in crucial advocacy efforts to call for the safety of those living and working in long-term care facilities, many of which have been hit hard by the pandemic.
- And we're continuing to champion research that could one day end Alzheimer's, as some trials adapt their protocols to keep participants safe.
Please help us meet our goal of 2,020 new monthly donors in 2020 by joining this group today.
Giving monthly is efficient because your donation is charged automatically each month. It's flexible, as you can change the amount anytime. And recurring gifts are powerful, as they provide the ongoing support needed to further our mission to lead the way to end Alzheimer's and all other dementia — by accelerating global research, driving risk reduction and early detection, and maximizing quality care and support — especially at this unprecedented time.
There's no better time than Alzheimer's & Brain and Awareness Month to strengthen our partnership as we work together to achieve our vision of a world without Alzheimer's and all other dementia. Please join us a monthly donor today, before this special month ends.
With gratitude for your solidarity and support,
Donna McCullough
Chief Field and Development Officer
P.S. With the first half of 2020 almost behind us, we simply must stay on track with our goal to recruit 2,020 monthly donors by year's end. Please help us recognize Alzheimer's & Brain Awareness Month by joining us as one of our newest monthly donors today.
