My name is Zach Wahls, and I am officially running for U.S. Senate against Joni Ernst.

I am writing to ask you to become an early supporter of my campaign. We are looking for a huge number of donations before our deadline and it’d mean a lot for me to see your name on the list.

Otherwise, let me explain why I am running, and why I need your help.

Iowans are getting screwed by politicians like Senator Joni Ernst. Insiders like Joni are putting their own interests above those of Iowa families. 

We can defeat her, flip Iowa’s Senate seat, and bring a new generation of leadership to Washington, but I cannot do it alone. 

So I am asking: 

$10 because a huge number of donations would send a powerful message about the grassroots strength of our campaign and our ability to win. 

$10 because we are running against Joni Ernst who, in response to warnings that Medicaid cuts would kill Iowans, responded “Well, we all are going to die.”

$10 because we can flip this seat but it will take all of us doing our part. 

I know what you’re thinking: $10 can’t possibly flip a Senate seat. But as you read this, lots and lots of people are making their donations and it all adds up fast when we’re in it together. 

I’m asking for your help because I know in my bones that the power of the people is greater than the people in power. 

So, before my big deadline, I’m asking:

Can you split $10 — or whatever you can afford today — between my campaign and The Majority Rules to help me flip Iowa blue? It adds up quickly when we’re all chipping in.
