I wholeheartedly agree.

A senior in Washington’s 6th Congressional District told me that on a call a couple days ago. I got to hear from people all over the district who need their Social Security.

Urgent: can you rush a $7 donation now before my fundraising deadline on Tuesday, so I can win and fight to expand Social Security in Congress?

I’m running against an incumbent who joined with Republicans to call for cutting Social Security — a favorite plan of Mitt Romney and Trump.

Call me strident, but a district where 24% of people are on Social Security deserves better than this:

When I’m in Congress, I will never join with Republicans to call for Social Security cuts and then half-walk it back at home. I will fight to protect and EXPAND Social Security.

There will be no doubt in seniors’ minds where I stand on Social Security.
