Friend —

The U.S. Department of Homeland Security recently issued a cruel statement suggesting that DACA recipients — our neighbors, friends, and family members — should self-deport.

This is a stark reminder: DACA’s temporary protections are and have never been enough. Without a pathway to citizenship, immigrant youth will continue to face the same uncertainty they’ve endured for years — at the mercy of ever-changing political agendas and court rulings. Congress must act now. ([link removed])

This week marks 13 years since DACA was first implemented. For over a decade, DACA has been a transformative program for hundreds of thousands of young immigrants who contribute to our communities. But DACA's protections were never meant to be permanent — and this latest announcement from DHS shows just how much is still at stake for immigrant youth.

Congress must act now and pass a pathway to citizenship. We’re calling on supporters like you to join us in mobilizing and urging your elected officials to pass permanent protections for immigrant youth, ensuring they can continue to live, work, and thrive in the U.S. without fear of being ripped from the lives they’ve built.

If you agree and want to be part of the solution, please send a message to your representatives in Congress. We must work together and demand a pathway to citizenship for immigrant youth. ([link removed])
