Update on code of practice for services, public functions and associations

| EHRC Chief Executive responds to Times article on Code of Practice consultation | | Last week our Chief Executive, John Kirkpatrick, wrote a letter to the editor of the Times in response to media coverage about the content and process of updating our code of practice for services, public functions and associations. | | | Read our letter to the Times | | We are currently reviewing responses to the consultation, which has now closed. When we have completed this process and finalised the text of the code, we will submit it to the Minister for Women and Equalities for approval.
It will then be for UK government to manage the process and timing of laying the code of practice in Parliament, on the way to becoming statutory guidance. |
