As a three-time All-Star and World Series champion with the Boston Red Sox, Kevin has experienced firsthand the challenges and opportunities that come with being a visible Jewish athlete in professional sports. Throughout his career, and now into his retirement, he has used his platform to speak out against antisemitism and embrace his Jewish heritage.
Kevin will be joined by University of Michigan student and Maccabi USA athlete Morgan Zietz, who will offer her own perspective as a Jewish athlete and how participation in the Maccabiah strengthened her Jewish identity and helped prepare her to face experiences with antisemitism on and off campus.
Join us on August 20 at 7:00 PM ET as Kevin and Morgan reflect on their journeys and how sports can be a vehicle for understanding, education and positive change.
A live Q&A will follow—bring your students, athletes, teammates, and questions!
