John, In 2018, California helped to deliver a Democratic House Majority by flipping seven Republican-held seats -- and while in Congress, they’ve fought hard for their constituents all across the state . They've championed the Democratic values of standing up for working families through policies like lowering prescription drug costs and fighting for a fairer tax system. And they’ve protected our democracy by serving as checks on the lawlessness and lack of accountability running rampant throughout the Trump administration. This November, if we’re to retain and expand the majority this cycle, it’s imperative that we protect our state’s most vulnerable Democrats. So today we’re joining forces with Gil’s California colleagues for a joint fundraising drive to ensure that we keep these seats blue in November. The Democrats we sent to Congress from California have made incredible progress for our state. They’ve championed federal oversight and reforms to counter the Trump administration’s willingness to give away tax money to corporations. They’ve fought to protect and expand healthcare, women’s rights, and voting rights.
