News from the global fight for reproductive rights

Act Now

This year alone, over a dozen states have passed extreme bans on abortion as part of a coordinated national strategy to overturn Roe v. Wade.

With the support of our Friends of the Center—an exclusive group of dedicated donors who make a generous monthly gift to sustain our work—we are fighting back.

Will you become a Friend of the Center by making a sustaining gift today and help us defeat anti-abortion laws in the United States and beyond?

Up to the challenge

  • On Monday, the Title X Gag Rule forced our client, Maine Family Planning, out of the program. We’ve appealed our case challenging the rule to the First Circuit Court of Appeals.
  • We asked a judge to block Georgia’s 6-week abortion ban so the law does not go into effect while our litigation against it proceeds.
  • The Oklahoma district court upheld a ban on a standard abortion method. We will appeal the decision to the state Supreme Court.
