Dear John,
Republicans are running away from their voters — especially at town hall meetings. In fact, some GOP Congressional leaders have instructed their U.S. House Members to stop having in-person town halls at all.
But CADEM and our Democratic Members across the state are California Strong. We aren’t afraid to show up .
This week, Congressman Dave Min took questions from Californians during a town hall meeting in Orange County . And he didn’t show up alone! Former Arizona Congresswoman Gabby Giffords also attended the town hall as our special guest.
Will you stand with Rep. Dave Min, Gabby Giffords, and all Democrats who are willing to SHOW UP for everyday Americans? We want to continue holding town hall meetings up and down our state, but need your support. Please, pitch in $ or more now. [[link removed]]
[link removed] [[link removed]] CHIP IN $ >> [[link removed]]As you know, Republicans recently rammed through their Big Ugly Bill that will have a devastating impact on working Americans.
— 17 million could lose their healthcare;
— 5 million face cuts to food support;
— 1.75 million construction jobs are at risk;
— $3 trillion added to the national debt
So, it’s no surprise that Republicans are cowering and hiding away from voters. They expect to lose seats in the upcoming midterms, which is also why Donald Trump and GOP leaders in Texas are trying to force through a last-minute gerrymander to save their House Majority .
But even swing-seat Democrats facing tough reelections, like Dave Min, aren’t afraid to face their voters and have candid discussions about crucial issues. That’s why we held this town hall, to hear from people like you .
We want to keep having these conversations and building momentum for a blue wave, but pulling these together isn’t cheap. Will you consider making a donation of $ to fund another town hall? [[link removed]]
