Contact Me Here Delivering for Our Nation's Heroes: My 2025 Veterans Plan I released my 2025 Plan to deliver for America’s Veterans, a comprehensive strategy to ensure every service member and veteran receives the care, respect, and support they’ve earned. As the mother of a Marine officer, I understand firsthand the sacrifices made by our courageous men and women in uniform and their families. That’s why I’m committed to reforming the Department of Veterans Affairs, improving access to healthcare, housing, and mental health resources, and supporting the transition back to civilian life. My plan is built on four key pillars: ensuring VA transparency and accountability, expanding access to quality healthcare, supporting the transition to civilian life, and honoring the sacrifice of those who served. It builds on the progress we made in the 118th Congress, including the passage of the Senator Elizabeth Dole 21st Century Veterans Healthcare and Benefits Improvement Act. This package included several bills I championed, such as the VA Same-Day Scheduling Act and the Return Home to Housing Act. We owe our veterans more than words; we owe them action. My plan delivers just that. To read my full Veterans Plan, click here. Restoring American Strength on the World Stage My 2025 America First Foreign Policy Plan is a bold blueprint to promote peace through strength, confront the growing threat of the Chinese Communist Party, and defund corrupt global organizations, all while putting America’s interests first. As a member of the House Intelligence Committee, I know what it takes to defend our freedoms and secure our future. I’ll continue to back initiatives that counter China’s malign influence, preserve peace and stability in the Western Balkans, and protect American taxpayer dollars from waste and corruption abroad. This plan builds on the foreign policy successes of President Trump and outlines a clear national security strategy rooted in American leadership, strong diplomacy, and common sense. Holding Ireland Accountable for Anti-Israel Boycott Ireland’s push to ban imports from Israeli territories mirrors the anti-Semitic BDS movement and threatens our strongest ally in the Middle East. I led a letter with House colleagues urging Treasury Secretary Bessent to investigate whether this proposed boycott violates U.S. anti-boycott law. Section 999 of the Internal Revenue Code requires the Treasury Department to maintain a list of countries that promote foreign boycotts of U.S. allies, triggering disclosure and reporting rules for American businesses. We are calling for a formal review and for Ireland to be added to this list if warranted. The United States must send a clear message that efforts to economically isolate Israel will not be tolerated and that our laws will be enforced to protect our allies and the American companies that operate abroad. Releasing My Plan to Stand with Israel and Confront Iran I released my 2025 Israel and Iran Plan to reaffirm my unwavering support for our greatest ally in the Middle East, Israel, and confront the world’s top state sponsor of terror. As a member of the House Intelligence Committee, I recognize the threats we face from Iran and its terrorist proxies like Hamas and Hezbollah. While the Biden administration empowered Iran and abandoned Israel, I’m working to restore peace through strength by supporting President Trump’s Maximum Pressure Campaign, strengthening our security partnership with Israel, and holding Iran accountable for its brutality. My plan also pushes back against efforts to delegitimize Israel on the world stage and defends its rightful historical claims to Judea and Samaria. We must stand with Israel, counter Iran’s aggression, and ensure America leads with moral clarity and strategic purpose. To read my full Israel Plan, click here. Honoring Our Heroes on Purple Heart Day Our team attended the annual Niagara County Purple Heart Recognition Ceremony at the historic courthouse in Lockport to honor the courageous men and women who were wounded or gave their lives in defense of our nation. As a Purple Heart District, NY-24 stands firmly committed to recognizing the extraordinary service and sacrifice of these American heroes. Niagara County has upheld its designation as a Purple Heart County since 2019, and this year’s ceremony was a powerful tribute, featuring a formal presentation of the Colors, patriotic music from the American Legion’s Band of the Tonawandas, and moving remarks from guest speaker Don MacSwan, a Vietnam veteran, multiple Purple Heart recipient, and the Supervisor of Wheatfield. On Purple Heart Day and every day, we honor those who have shed blood in service to our great country. Their courage, sacrifice, and dedication will never be forgotten. Motion Junction Playground Ribbon Cutting Our team was grateful to celebrate with the Company Store on their grand opening at the Motion Junction Playground in Canandaigua. Thank you for making a great example of how local businesses can make a lasting difference in the lives of those they serve.
