Unleashing American Energy
The Big Beautiful Bill, passed by House Republicans and signed into law by President Trump, harnesses the power of domestic energy production to restore American energy dominance and drive down the cost of living for the hardworking families and small business owners of Main Street. This historic legislation eliminates the costly penalties of CAFE standards, an initiative I have supported for several Congresses that empowers manufacturers to innovate and grow. We must cater to Main Street and let the market, not Washington, decide what powers America’s future.
Toured the Granbury Regional Airport
The Granbury Regional Airport has completed major upgrades that significantly expand its capabilities and help drive regional growth. I had the opportunity to visit the site, meet with local leaders and the hardworking team behind the project, and see firsthand how these improvements will benefit our community. This investment will open new doors for business, travel, and long-term economic opportunity to help Granbury continue to thrive!
Visited the Stephenville Police Department
I visited the Stephenville Police Department where I had the privilege of presenting Dr. M. George Eichenberg with a flag flown over the U.S. Capitol in honor of his retirement. He led a distinguished career in criminal justice shaping the lives and careers of countless individuals.
In Case You Missed It!
Small businesses should not be locked out from the free market because of overreaching regulations. This week, I joined Mornings With Maria and Varney & Co to discuss my latest bill, the Freedom to Compete Act, and ways House Republicans are working to reverse the regulatory damage of the Biden Administration.
In God we trust,
