My friend Steven Horsford is one of Dems Frontline members
Dear Friend,
If we’re going to take back the House in 2026, we need to defend our most vulnerable seats. As Chair of the Congressional Black Caucus, it’s my duty to do everything I can to support our vulnerable members.
I’m grateful to be able to lead the Congressional Black Caucus through this pivotal moment in its long history, and I’m also so grateful for the support of my colleagues and Chair-emeritus Steven Horsford for all he’s done to champion the rights of Black Americans throughout his career.
We can’t afford to lose him in 2026, especially when the Texas GOP is threatening to redistrict their state to eliminate FIVE Democratic or toss-up leaning seats.
The path to making Minority Leader Jeffries Speaker Jeffries runs right through Steven’s district. We can’t afford to lose this.
Yvette Clarke is the ONLY Black woman representing New York in Washington. As Chair of the Congressional Black Caucus, she’s brought together moderates and progressives to pass legislation that helps communities of color, low-income families, immigrants, and more. If you'd like only the most important updates, you can opt for fewer emails here, but if you don't want to keep Yvette proudly representing Brooklyn, you can unsubscribe.
