Now, our Medicaid Expansion — and coverage for millions more Americans across the country — is at risk by Washington Republicans’ massive federal funding cuts.
Getting Medicaid Expansion in North Carolina took a decade of work, persistent negotiation, and teamwork. I can tell you that we had to fight like hell to get this done. And we eventually got to a bipartisan agreement to get it done.
