I’m not here to beg for your money.
Now that that’s all cleared up…let’s cut to the chase.
I know the value of a hard-earned dollar better than anyone. Growing up in rural Iowa, I wasn’t born with a silver spoon in my mouth and had to work extra shifts at the local fast food joint just to pay my way through college.
My name is Joni Ernst. I hate sending emails like this, but I know it’s one of the best ways to connect with like-minded freedom-loving patriots, like yourself, so please let me introduce myself.
I grew up a farmer’s daughter. I ride a Harley and can bet there are few people in this world who can castrate a hog better than me. As a combat veteran, I led convoys through Kuwait and Iraq. I served alongside America’s bravest soldiers for over 23 years.
Hard work isn’t just a phrase to me – it’s ingrained in my DNA. That’s why it makes me ready to blow a fuse when I see Republicans and Democrats alike wasting your time and tax dollars in Washington. They aren’t serving anyone other than themselves, and I’m fed up with it.
So, I’m setting my sights on the lazy Washington politicians and bureaucrats who aren’t securing our elections, our border, or defending our Christian American values. And don’t even get me started on those who are standing in the way of President Trump’s America First agenda.
But here’s where the rubber meets the road, John. We know we need to end the corruption and root out the waste, but the corrupt politicians and bureaucrats aren’t going down without a fight. They have the time, money, and resources at the ready and are preparing to unleash it all to defeat folks like us who want to save America.
That’s why I’m swallowing my pride today and asking you what I know is no small favor. Will you pitch in just a few bucks to support a retired combat soldier before her major deadline?
