Friends -
I believe that America should have a completely nonpartisan drawing of congressional districts, based on the census.
And I think most Americans agree. Politicians shouldn’t pick their voters. And no political party is entitled to any seat in Congress – those seats belong to the people.
But right now in Texas, and potentially other states, President Trump is trying to rig the game by pushing for mid-decade redistricting to find him more Republican House seats because he's scared he'll lose the 2026 election.
And if Republicans are going to do it, then I think blue states like California and Illinois should do the same thing.
I don't want to do that. But if they're going nuclear, so am I.
I know this is a hot topic right now, so I wanted to share my thoughts with you.
