Which parts of Donald Trump’s so-called “Big Beautiful Bill” concern you most? 

Your top concern was the tax breaks Trump and his allies gave to billionaires and large corporations. Respondents also expressed worries about the health care cuts that will impact over 250,000 Minnesotans, higher health care costs for middle-class families, and threats to rural and critical-access hospitals. 

How will Trump’s budget impact you and your loved ones? 

Many told us this bill would drive up costs and put more strain on their household budgets. Dozens of people shared personal stories of hardship, and lack of access to affordable health care was a recurring theme. Even respondents who felt they could weather the negative effects of Trump’s budget expressed concern for their loved ones and the most vulnerable members of their communities. 

What strategies should the DFL prioritize as we fight back against Trump and his dangerous agenda? 

Respondents said their top priority for us was countering misinformation and extremism online. You also want us to hold Trump and his MAGA allies accountable, mobilize voters across Minnesota, and fight for everyone impacted by this budget.
