I want to talk to you about what is happening in Texas right now.

Democracy dies when a regime trying to convert a country to authoritarianism operates outside-the-box and ignores norms and the pro-democracy opposition stays inside-the-box and observes all the norms.

If Texas and other states redraw their congressional districts mid-decade because they're afraid they'll lose the House otherwise, then we need Democrats to do the same in states we control.

I wish it didn't come to this, but here we are...

This is a moment we have to fight fire with fire. If Republicans are operating in these exceptional ways, we could lose our democracy if we don't have an answer.
